Doing a demo at the Astor Center NYC this Saturday
In this cooking demonstration and tasting, Daniel Patterson (Chef/Owner of San Francisco’s Coi) and Johnny Iuzzini (Pastry Chef of Jean-Georges in NYC and Head Judge of Top Chef: Just Desserts) will give you an insiders look into the way they combine flavors to create their unique dishes. Using similar ingredient building blocks (perhaps blood orange, or ginger, or black pepper) Daniel and Johnny will craft savory and sweet dishes off-the-cuff, leading you through their unique and different processes as you taste the results. Chocolate Show is back in NYC
It is that time of year again folks! The infamous chocolate show. Come check me out doing a high tech demonstration using chocolate and liquid nitrogen and explaining how important of a tool it has become. If you haven't been to the International Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Show in NYC, you are definitely missing something. This monday starting around 1pm I will doing a book signing and talking about one of my new favorite pieces of equipment, The Temp Station. Come say hi, grab a book and meet me.
