Pike Market in Seattle

I am such a animal when it comes to street food, kiosks and fresh fried seafood. We tore it up in Seattle. We got beef onion piroshky, fried calamari, Japanese hot dogs, fresh fried potato chips, fresh fried doughnuts. I also tasted a ton of jams and honeys and brought a couple back in cluding tayberry jam and blackberry honey. There was a lot of amazing seafood, king salmon, giant crabs and lobsters. As well as fresh pastas and a whole lots of produce. What a great market.

 

Heading to Seattle

Just a quick trip. Will definitely hit the Pikes Pl Market. Check out this "candy sky" on my way to the airport this morning.

Summer fruit coming to a close

At the union square market this week. Thinking about the menu changes. Happy to see my favorite all time fruit make it's debut! The concord grape! I grew up in the catskills and we had them goring in our yard. My mom made the best jam with them. Damn I miss that jam.
